On August 3, 1934, Father Time Paul Pagano celebrated his 11th birthday with a 9-3 Cardinals win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Dizzy Dean pitched the Birds to victory on that day in St. Louis, and the hurler used more than his arm to beat another future Hall of Famer in Waite Hoyt who was knocked out of the game after giving up four runs in the second inning before he even recorded an out. Dean was dealing early. He gave up a double to Paul Waner in the first, then held the Buccos hitless until the fifth. While his line at the end of the day included 11 hits by the visitors, he was able to work around most of them, as the Cardinals offense rolled. Ernie Orsatti and Leo Durocher each picked up two hits, and two RBI's in four trips, which included a triple and a double for the both of them. The Cardinals hurler matched both Orsatti and Durocher's batting line with two hits of his own in four trips, and he even tripled and doubled just like his teammates. While Dizzy will forever be known for his Hall of Fame arm he was a pretty good hitter. His lifetime average sits at .225, but in 1934 he belted out a .246 average. His best year at the dish came in 1932 when he hit .258. I know those numbers are not eye popping, but when you consider the fact that he was a pitcher they are definitely respectable.Today is Mr. Pagano's 91st birthday. Born in 1923, Father Time has lived through each and every pennant winning season, which includes all 11 World Series Championships. He served his country proudly during World War II, before returning to the city that he knows and loves where he worked for 60 years as a produce merchant. After retiring he began to dress up and appear at many community events where he took on the name "Father Time." He has stood the test of time which makes that name an appropriate one. I am sure that many of you have seen him around the stadium, and might have even taken a picture with him. I wrote this today as a birthday gift for one of the greatest Cardinals fans the City of St. Louis has ever seen. I often scoff at the notion that anyone is the the "#1 fan", but today I do believe Father Time Paul Pagano is #1. Happy Birthday sir, and thank you for your service.

I didn't understand Dennis had such a variety of sonnets in the book, so you got thema ll. This book I feel is great, since it has numerous sorts of rhyme in it, femine, manly, end, inernal, et cetera, however next to how he made them, he had a ton to say, and I figure he said it with components of jpoetry, I trust you delighted in these 126-sonnets.
