On May 26, 1991, the Cardinals offense exploded as they collected 23 hits in a 14-4 beatdown of the Mets at Shea Stadium in New York. Tom Pagnozzi led the charge for the Redbirds by knocking in 6 runs on a triple, a double, and two singles. Pags was hardly known for his bat but it was sure workin that day at Shea.
